Profile Photo and Introduction
Your profile photo is an important first step in building trust between freelancers and companies. As most interactions take place online, having a clear photo provides reassurance and can create a positive first impression.
In your introduction, clearly describe your area of expertise, key skills, and professional experience. Focus on communicating the value you can provide. A concise yet specific introduction strengthens the overall impact of your profile.
Portfolio
Sollective provides a portfolio feature that allows professionals from any field to showcase projects, achievements, or work samples that best represent the quality they can deliver.
By sharing concrete examples of your work, companies can better understand what it would be like to collaborate with you. Whenever possible, include not only the final output but also your role, scope of responsibility, key contributions, and measurable results.
Your portfolio is one of the most effective ways to demonstrate your capabilities. We encourage you to make full use of this feature.

Skills
First, select your Work Personality from the following options:

Next, enter your Top Skills and Additional Skills. You may register up to five Top Skills and arrange them in order of proficiency or strength. Prioritize the skills that best represent your core expertise.
Under Additional Skills, include relevant skills that did not fit into your Top Skills, as well as tools and software you are proficient in. Please do not forget to select your soft skills as well. Professional collaboration and communication abilities are also important factors in evaluation.

Work Experience
In the Industry section, select the industries in which you have experience (e.g., consumer electronics, automotive, fashion, etc.).
In your Work Experience section, include past employment, freelance work, side projects, or team-based roles. Rather than listing positions only, provide details such as:

- Project scope
- Key tasks and contributions
- Measurable results or achievements

Select your native language as well as any additional languages you speak.
Even if you do not use a language at a full business level, familiarity with a language and its associated culture may still be considered an asset. Please indicate your level as accurately as possible.

If you have completed a degree program (Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate), please enter your educational background.
In the Certifications section, you may include professional certifications, language test scores (such as JLPT), awards, and completed programs such as business schools or bootcamps. These details help demonstrate your qualifications and commitment to professional development.
